DRAW MORE NOISE
Seit über 10 Jahren bilden das intensive Hören und die Gestaltung von Klang und Geräusch einen wichtigen Teil meines Lebens. Ich arbeite als Filmtonmeisterin, Sound Designerin, Geräuschtonmeisterin und Re-Recordingmixer, sowie als Audio Artist
Das Filmwerk kann und sollte inhaltlich und formal durch meine Arbeit größtmögliche Unterstützung erfahren und durch eine eigene künstlerische Ebene bereichert werden. Dabei habe ich besonders ein offenes Ohr für alle experimentellen Grenzgebiete zwischen Film und Videokunst, Soundscape, Field-Recording, Audio Art und Hörspiel.
For over ten years now I find an important purpose in life in deep listening and designing sound.
I work as a production sound mixer, sound designer, foley recordist, sound editor and re-recording mixer, as well as audio artist.
Between 2003 - 2006 I took classes in art history and multimedia at University Karlsruhe.
After the BA I applied myself to study science of art, film/media theory and media art with a special focus on sound at Karlsruhe University of Arts and Design (HfG). During this time I became aware of my profound interest in the work on sound. Quickly I started to record, mix and to create the sound track for feature length documentaries. I took up internships in sound production and have been guest in broadcast studios for radio drama and in film mixing theaters.
My profession ideal is to support and complete the artwork with an appropriate and artistic sonic component in the best possible manner. I have a special affinity with the edges between film, video art, soundscapes, field recording and radio drama.
